Terminal

Seeing as it's been over a month since any activity on the Cube, and seeing as Terminal have never had much presence on the Cube and seeing as it's quite topical, today's blog update is about Terminal. Well it will be at first.

Today, Terminal made a trip to Diamond Studios in Wakefield to practice music and endorse ROCK. We ran through the usual numbers such as 'Wish', 'Kill the King', 'Paranoid' and 'March of the Pigs'. You're an intelligent person and I'm sure you've already noticed that the same songs appear to be performed by just Extar on the Cube's Audio page, well that's because the DR-3 is the drummer and bassist for both Extar and Terminal, so the rhythm section tends to have that 'trademark' (identical) sound.

The photo you can see of Terminal would also lead you to another conclusion, that Terminal, unlike Extar could actually perform live and such, being that Terminal is a band and REALLY needs the work whereas Extar is a 'studio project' or 'just that weird guy who's into Dark Angel and his drum machine'. The practice was largely successful though none of us knew the words for 'Don't You (Forget About Me)' so we had to kind of make it up from the few words we knew were in the song or thought sounded like they could/should be in the song. The photo of Terminal is low quality and rather small because it was print-screened from a flash of Terminal's performance of 'Kill the King', which you can watch if you know who to ask.

Well we're such dashing fellows, another photo of us won't hurt a bit.

'Enough about Terminal already!' I hear you mumble to yourself. Okay then, I'll try and move onto something else.
Big fuckings currently go to Fox for cancelling Dark Angel, I have been remarking far too much in the past month my disbelief that they cancelled such a great show to make room for FUCKING FIREFLY/SERENITY/STEAMING SHIT. The one upshot of Fox cancelling Dark Angel is that there is only two seasons of stuff to know about Dark Angel and seeing as I intend to get the second season on DVD too I can't see much stopping me from becoming the UK's leading voice on Dark Angel, there's a lack of non-shit DA fansites you see. A good excuse to watch Season 1 again would be so I could do reviews of each episode and then I could write little bios on the characters and the Cube might actually start serving a purpose beyond 'things Extar said and did'. Oh, by the way, calling me Extar in the real world, or just calling me Extar ever is about the lamest thing you can do.

Because I said I would a while ago and because this update really needs padding out, I thought I'd show you how little a social life I have by posting an update on the Diablo 2 characters I told you about on the 5th September 2005 update.

Character Levels
Time/Date Vondoro (Palladin) Tentara (Sorceress) Undoro (Necromancer) Clentara (Amazon) Kantaro (Barbarian) Wenderra (Assassin) Dendoro (Druid) Average Level Of All Characters
03:12 10/04/2006 42 47 66 73 64 46 77 59.3

Since 5th September I've started playing two new characters however.

Vonterra the Sorceress Gandaro the Hammerdin (Paladin) New Average Level Of All Characters
204453.2

Don't pretend you're not REALLY interested for I can see into your soul. If you're wondering why I put this up, bear in mind that I like to review my Blog occasionaly and this is the sort of thing I'd find super interesting on some early morning in the future after playing Diablo 2. How big and strong they've grown! And whilst we're on the subject of online RPGs...

Guild Wars has been taking up a lot of my time recently. Mainly because I started trying to be an active member in my guild. The game is pretty good but has enough little niggles to prevent it from being as super awesome as Diablo II is. However, being in shifty 3D and with the level designer's flare for the dramatic, you can get some pretty cool screen shots off it. Seeing as there's nothing better to put in this blog update and seeing as they look nice, I'll stick em up here for you to see. You'll notice Mr. Continuity likes to use the same names on his GW characters as his Diablo 2 characters. One problem with the game is that none of the characters are very 'gritty' (think Boromir, High Cardinal of Ass-Kicking) and they're all a little bit too good looking, but the up-shot of that is...

Dendoro standing around in the Guild hall. Vondoro looking mysterious in the Catacombs.
Undoro gothing it up on the cool character select screen. Tentara without any clothes on in Ascalon.

Extar, over, out.

I bet you're too lazy to check if I got my maths right in those averages.
