Week Four

They actually turned on the work this week. In a shock move, work from all three modules was set which meant I actually had to spend some time working this week. Of course, this was a rather unwelcome addition to my week and resulted in me seemingly not having enough time for anything. The work continues over the next two weeks with unassessed practice essays which I suppose I ought to do, and there's an assessed presentation to be working on too. It seems time management is yet again going to be a deciding factor in whether or not this semester descends into the same manic state of perpetual lateness of the last two semesters.

I have also been made aware that I have to meet my personal tutor for some kind of meeting. This is another thing I'd rather not have to schedule into my week however I can at least be sure (read: reasonably confident) that I won't have to encounter my personal tutor for another year or so, which I think is in both our interests.

In a shock move I have announced that planning has started for GO NORTH 5, the next installment in the moderately disliked series of flashes about that guy in that RPG. Having paid much attention to what Newgrounds whores consider 'good' and 'bad' in a flash I have decided to completely disregard what they think. I found myself 'story-boarding' the first 'act' of GO NORTH 5 last week, in MS Paint of course, and it became clear to me just how huge, over-ambitious and unlikely to be finished GO NORTH 5 would actually be. Things I'm hoping to include in GO NORTH 5:
- Original 'music', which despite being something NG whores enjoy, I have decided to do because I might actually enjoy it.
- The option to turn on/off the excessive swearing which I'm hoping to anger the NG whores with. If this isn't possible, then there's going to be a 'pussy version', which would end up on Newgrounds, and a 'director's cut version', which would end up on the Cube.
- A story which ties things up and doesn't create the need for another sequel.

Time will tell whether or not GO NORTH 5 gets completed and whether or not such a completed version includes any of those objectives. I'd like to get it done by christmas, but you know how unpredictable these things are.
