This was another of my slightly less successful attempts at recording some ideas that I had come up with.
My initial ideas were that I wanted a bassy synth sound like at the beginning of Tori Amos' cover of Raining Blood, a sort of pulsing, organic sound, the kind of sound that I have little success achieving on the Microkorg. Then to this I'd add some dischordant guitars and hopefully arrive at something comparable to the beginning of 'My Apterous Angel' by Akercocke, which is really cool.
However, working with what I have I was only able to come up with some Vangelis-sounding ethereal pad noises so this made putting the guitars on top more difficult.
I made a proper use of looping in Cooledit for the drums on this song which was a good thing to figure out. The drums used a kit template that I came up with on Fruity Loops at the same time I was working on Arsenic on the Rocks.

These are mostly here for my convenience.
