»Notes: Terminator 1

I'd have given the song a proper name except it's only really a stop-gap measure whilst I think more about doing a proper version.

I knocked out this partly whilst I was struggling to set up the bass sound for the new version of Warfare.

The original Terminator theme is a really awesome tune and I think I ought to do a proper version with keyboards and a drum machine to keep the tempo tight and to retain the odd time signature of the original.

There's loads of covers of the Terminator theme on Newgrounds and without exception they are all shit and are mostly in three four time, which is a fucking travesty. It's not a god damn waltz.

The Brad Fiedel synthesiser version from the first Terminator is the best in my view. I wasn't keen on the orchestral version that was on Terminator II.

I used my DOD FX86B, a.k.a. Death Metal Distortion on the bass in this track. I haven't use that pedal for quite a while on a recording since I got my Boss multi-effects pedal. The FX86 is great, along with the usual markings of 'level, low, mid, high' the DOD has 'RIP, Guts, Pain and Scream'. The pedal has serious background noise issues and I've had to get my dad to cast his electronics eye over it at least once. However, it has the most punishing tone this side of Entombed's album Left Hand Path, it's like a god damn chainsaw. People who hate this pedal are pussies.

These are mostly here for my convenience.
